This website provides information you will need as you plan and conduct your event at or in conjunction with Colorado School of Mines.

Who we are...

Colorado School of Mines offers a wide range of educational programs to audiences beyond the campus, extending the academic services of the school throughout the United States and around the world through specialized courses, programs, conferences and other activities.

CPES administers these educational events on behalf of the school, providing administrative, logistical, and fiscal support to Mines faculty members, departments, and centers involved in a wide array of educational outreach activities.

How to use this website...

This website can be used to provide Guidance that will help you plan and develop your event, and it can be used as a Reference source to give you access to policies, procedures, forms, and other items and information that you will need during the planning and conduct of your event. You can easily switch between Guidance mode and Reference mode by clicking/tapping the appropriate button located above the navigation buttons on every page of the website.

We suggest that you begin your planning by going through all of the Guidance material since doing so will give you a good idea of the overall process — and, of course, you can revisit any of the guidance later as you progress through the planning. Once you have absorbed the "big picture", you can use the Reference mode to obtain more detailed information about any of the planning steps.
